About the event

We are happy to finally announce our National Public Lands Day project coming up on the 29th of this month. Working with the folks from Red Rock Crawler, our objective is to finish off installing and repairing fencing around a large meadow along our adopted trail, North Fork FR085. If we complete that in a timely manner, we have some "stretch goals" for fixing up other fencing areas along the trail.

We will be coming over the top of Pole Line Pass and dropping down into Midway which always makes for a very scenic experience with all the leaves changing colors. For those interested, we will be stopping by Dairy Keen(Train Burger) in Heber afterwards for food and conversation.

We are also excited to announce our partnership with Tread Lightly! on this project, and want to thank them and Quadratec for awarding us their "Tread Lightly! Quadratec Cares Funding Award". This grant money allowed BOAR to purchase a gas powered post hole digger that will greatly speed up fencing installs, allowing us to utilize our volunteer hours more efficiently and keep up with future maintenance needs in a timely manner.

BOAR is proud to be a supporting club of Tread Lightly, and we highly recommend supporting them in their efforts to educate users and protect access. As a member of BOAR, you are able to recieve a heavily discounted Tread Lightly membership that includes many benefits. Definitely check them out at this link when you get a chance: https://www.treadlightly.org/join-tread-lightly/

When signing up, use the club code "ClubTL18", and select "Backcountry Offroad Adventure Rally" from the club list.

Please note our meeting location for this event is at Smiths, just down the street from our usual Chevron meeting spot. We will gather at the Smiths Fuel Center which has a large parking lot to meetup in, ability to top off gas tanks at the station, and the convienence of running into the store for last minute items you may need. The address for Smiths Fuel Center is: 1550 East 3500 North, Lehi, UT 84043 And here is a google maps link to the meeting location: https://goo.gl/maps/JHRJNDawrwx

We look forward to working with everyone in giving back to our public lands.

Any questions please let us know

See you there!
