Join us for this years National Public Lands Day project up American Fork Canyon! We will be working on FR085 repairing fencing near the Forest Lake and Mary Ellen's Gulch trail heads. Someone also dumped quite a bit of trash on the Midway side we plan to gather up on our way out after the fencing project.

Due to the trail closure at the narrows we will be meeting on the Midway side of the mountain at the Snake Creek Trailhead Parking lot @ 9:30am. Here is a google maps pin: https://goo.gl/maps/BnWfdyVXXE8XGjr26

Typically the trees are starting to turn color during NPLD so it can be quite scenic coming over the mountain and down into Midway. For those interested after the project we will make our usual stop at Dairy Keen(Train Burger) for food and fun conversation.

This is a great family activity and kids are welcome! Anyone is welcome, and the road is suitable for any 4x4. You must have closed toe shoes and pants(no shorts), and we recommend long sleeve shirts and gloves if you have some. Also bring water to stay hydrated.
