BOAR will be running the Potash Road/Shafer Switchbacks trail on Wednesday(28th) during safari. This is not a paid Safari run, and is open to anyone and everyone. We will be meeting at 9am in the parking area on the north side of the City Market store and leaving at 9:30 for the trail. This trail is rated easy and should be doable by stock vehicles.

Time permitting we also plan to take Long Canyon on our way back to town. We will also be passing by Dead Horse Point State Park if anyone wanted to peel off and check that out.

Some special notes about this trip:

*You are expected to pay a park fee on your way out of the park, unless you already have an annual park pass or other permit

*Edit - If you have a pet, you will be fine bringing them on this trip. Pets are allowed on the Potash Rd./Shafer Switchback Trail, but the park requests they not be taken out near overlooks for safety reasons. Anyone is welcome to join, and you are not required to register for the event, but if you choose to register it will enable email notifications if the event is changed or cancelled.
