This month we will be exploring the area around Vernon Reservoir, Cherry Creek, and the town of Jericho.  We will be meeting at the turnoff for the pony express/railroad bed trail at 5 mile pass and heading south via dirt roads.  This run should be doable by stock 4x4s.  Should the weather change significantly before then, we will switch to an alternate route but still will meet at 5 mile.

Should be make good time to Jericho, we do have a few options for a hike nearby or other mining/ghost town trails nearby.
