About the event
BOAR is holding a make your own fire pit welding class in March. The class will be a very basic overview of welding, with hands on practice. We will have many styles of welding machines/equipment available, and professional welders assisting students.
Before welding the pits, we will have some basic instruction on how the welders work and methods of using them. We then will have plenty of scrap metal to practice your welding skills on. After a bit of practice, everyone will weld up their own fire pit.
Event Info:
Cost: $80 per person. That includes all the materials for the fire pit, use of all the welders and other tools (grinders, flap disks, etc...), and scrap metal practice welding.
