The weather looks fantastic for this upcoming weekend, so we are heading out into the west desert to enjoy it and some scenic views.

Our day will start on the pony express to Simpson Springs, then we will head south through a scenic valley to some hot springs.  After the springs we will stop by the Topaz internment camp site, and finish off by visiting the abandoned solar research towers.

We pre ran this route over the weekend and are happy to report the trail is 99.95% mud free!  

Anyone and everyone is welcome to join in, and this route is stock vehicle friendly.

Timing wise we would suggest planning on 4-5 hours from the beginning of the trail to the end near Delta Utah.  Those needing to leave early would be able to leave at the hot springs.
