About the event

One of our main goals this year is to get the fencing around a meadow on FR085 replaced. One section of the fencing has started to tip over from the weight of snow on it over the years. Our plan for that section is to use winches to right the posts, then reinforce them. The other section has completely collapsed and needs full replacement. We anticipate repairing/replacing around 26 rails and 19 posts in this area.

This work will take place along our adopted trail, North Fork FR085, which is the main road from Tibble Fork to Midway/Heber. Since this road is fairly well maintained, you do not need a built 4x4 to be able to participate.

We will be meeting at Tibble Fork reservoir at 9:00am. Here is a Google Maps link to the meeting location: https://goo.gl/maps/CKcN4XsybN62

Please wear closed toe shoes. Long sleeve shirts are also recommended, and you may want to bring gloves if you have them. We will be providing the tools, but if you have a shovel or cordless drill it wouldnt hurt to bring it just in case. Also be sure to bring plenty of water.

For those that are interested after completing the fencing work, we will run the rest of the scenic 085 trail, come out in Midway, and swing by Dairy Keen(Trainburger)

If you have any questions please let us know.

We hope to see you there!
