About the event
Join BOAR, U4WDA, MOOR, Wasatch Offroad, Red Rock Crawlers and Northridge 4x4 for a trail cleanup at 5 mile pass.
Free breakfast sponsored by Northridge 4x4, where you can meet other outdoor enthusiasts and speak with members of the sponsoring groups.
Breakfast begins serving at 8:30.
When you first arrive please head to the BOAR booth to sign the volunteer form.
We have 4 main guided trail runs that will cover the various areas in most need of cleaning. You are also free to break off on your own at any time:
Sidewinder - CB Channel 25. Trail Rating = Difficult. Lead by Wasatch Offroad.
Mine Tailings - CB Channel 37. Trail Rating = Easy. Lead by BOAR Offroad
Rattlesnake - CB Channel 1. Trail Rating = Moderate. Lead by BOAR Offroad & Northridge 4x4
Constrictor - CB Channel 13. Trail is moderate/difficult. Participants can choose to winch up the Eagles Nest Obstacle, or turn back around with the tail gunner. Trail lead by M.O.O.R. Offroad.
When registering, you only need to select 1 ticket per vehicle you are bringing. Â The registration will also ask you how many will be in your vehicle. Â Please be sure to fill that section out as we will be using it to judge headcount for ordering food. Â Be aware each trail is capped at 20 participants.
If you start out on a run and choose to break off at any point to do your own thing, please let one of your trail guides know.
While on the trail, feel free to stop at anytime to get out and pick up trash that you see. If you see a vehicle stop behind you, or lose sight of the vehicle behind you, please stop. This will ensure no one gets separated or left behind during the run.
If you come across an obstacle, or something you are not comfortable with driving over/through, please ask for help and/or a spotter.Â
Trash bags and gloves will be provided to participants. We will have a dump trailer available in the parking lot until 3pm where you can deposit your trash bags on the way out. If you leave after 3pm, please take the trash home and dispose of it. Do not leave the bags in the parking lot.
